The race to stop antimicrobial resistance
It is estimated that in the year 2050, 10 million people will die from infections caused by antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Fast and early PCR screening, which detects the presence of bacteria and viruses in patients, has a key role to play in reducing the development and spread of infections and resistance, while also enabling appropriate antimicrobial stewardship.
